Hello!

I am a wife, mother of 3, and a Young Living Educator & Coach. I left my full-time job in 2014 to stay home with my children and share my passion for Young Living’s products. I love sharing natural lifestyle solutions with people!

I recommend grabbing a notebook for your oily notes. Keep track of your questions and successes - because you'll have lots of both.  We all do!

My contact information is at the bottom of the page.

Be sure to join our team’s Facebook Group where we share testimonies, answer your questions, and support each other in eliminating toxins from our home! Join us!

With that, let's get started on the details of your new account!

  • Facebook
  • Instagram

The Website -

If you haven’t done so since you signed up, sign in to your Virtual Office at YoungLiving.com/vo and explore a little bit – especially in the “Member Resources” section!

This is where you will place your orders, find your Essential Rewards information, product information, and more!  Spend some time in YL Central and explore the Member Resources.  There’s a lot for you in there!!

Now, let’s spend some time setting you up for success!

Take a moment and write out your account information in your notebook.

Member Number:

Password:

PIN:

Email Address:

The PIN is special because it proves you’re the account owner, so Customer Service will ask for it when you call.  Please remember it!  If you need my help resolving an issue, I will ask for your PIN so YL knows I have your permission to act on your behalf.  I do ask that if you have an issue, please let me help if you don’t get a resolution that makes you happy.

My job is to help you!

On a side note, I refuse to save PINs, so I’ll ask for it every time I call on your behalf.

I want to honor your trust while I take care of you.

Your Family Tree -

Support is built into every step of Young Living. You are now a member!

Who signed you up?

Write down their name.

If you have questions about your Young products, membership, or any other questions related to Young Living, what is the best way to get ahold of them?

Make sure you have their phone number to call/text, their email if you need to email them information to forward to leadership AND their social media so you can follow and message them!

Remember, you can ALWAYS ask questions in the Kingdom Courtyard Facebook group – and if you know how to search within a group, a lot of times, the question has already asked and can easily be found!

Gary Young valued relationships and education, so you’ll hear us refer to our teams as a family a lot.  Our oily family tree includes Gary & Mary Young, Marcella Vonn Harting, and Debra Raybern Starkey. Closer to our us are Corie DeVries (Essential Success), Amanda Uribe (Made Simply Pure), and my sponsors - Bill & Carrie Liebich (Kingdom LFA).

Your immediate oily ‘family’ (upline) includes everyone from your sponsor (the person who helped you sign up) all the way to me (Living Renewed)!

If you do not know who your sponsor or direct upline is, then please let me know and I’d be happy to get you that information.

Our leaders love to send out gifts, so don’t be alarmed if someone other than your sponsor reaches out to you - it's because they want to pour love into you!
Some of our leaders even run promotions, so watch for those!

My goal is to take great care of you and your friends and family.  If there’s anything I can help you with or that you’d like to learn, let me know!  Helping people live healthier with natural products is my passion.

Beginning Your Journey -

As you start your journey with Young Living, your education does depend on you! Our leaders do a lot, so I recommend a few things:

-- Attend classes/workshops to learn - both online and in person.

-- Join our team educational Facebook groups:

Kingdom Courtyard, Made Simply Pure Garden, and Essential Success Community

-- Follow Young Living on Social Media

    Young Living - Facebook Instagram

Young Living Training & Education - Facebook Instagram

Young Living Education and Classes - Facebook

-- Get your hands on reference books of all types! My favorite sources come from:

    Growing Healthy Homes

    Life Science Publishing

If you didn’t get a reference book from your sponsor, let me know! It goes over EVERY single oil and tells you what oils to use if you have specific ailments! Cold sore? Allergies? Sinus infection? Bug Bites? This book will give you a bunch of recommendations based on Gary Young’s years of experience!!

You can also search websites like http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed for testimonies and research on essential oils. Some of my favorites to research are the use of Frankincense on cancer (by Dr. H.K. Lin) or  Thieves and E. Coli!

Be aware that not all essential oils are the same, but you probably already knew that since you chose Young Living!

Uses Of Essential Oils -

Ready to get practical and open up those oils??  Remember that less is more with oils and a little goes a long way!  These are pure and that’s why they’re so amazing.

Topical:  Many oils can be applied to the skin without diluting (called “neat”). They can also be mixed with a carrier oil - such as coconut, olive or jojoba - for comfort, ease of applying to a large area, or for massage. Young Living also makes some massage oils with specific functions in mind – so check those out too!

Aromatic: Put a number of drops of your preferred oil in the diffuser (a few drops is perfect) for a whole room. This is a great way to “oil” everyone or to help uplift the mood or freshen up the house! You can also put a couple of drops on your hands and breathe in the aroma.

Dietary: To take an oil internally, you can put oils in your food or drink or use vegetable capsules to make a pill. When drinking oils, be sure to use glass or stainless-steel cups. We love to incorporate oils into our meals and treats as well! Yes! You can cook/bake with these oils as well.

Vitality Oils: These oils are the same as the ones in the colored labeled bottles, so the green 15ml Peppermint is the same as your white 5ml Peppermint Vitality! No one can tell you how to use your oils in your home. You are the boss!

Personally, I have no hesitations taking any of Young Living’s oils internally, because I know they are pure and safe, but it is up to you and your comfort level!

Essential Oil Safety -

Do not put oils directly in your eyes or ears. If by chance you do get them in your eyes (it happens sooner or later) DO NOT panic and DO NOT flush with water! Use a carrier oil to “soak up” the essential oil and then use a dry towel to wipe the oil away.

What are “hot” oils? When someone says an essential oil is a hot oil, they are referring to the sensation you may feel when applying the oil topically. If you experience this warm sensation; do not flush with water as that will only compound that sensation. Again, use a carrier to dilute the oil. Diluting an oil doesn’t decrease the potency of the oil, it only slows the absorption and thus alleviates the discomfort. Some examples of hot oils are Clove, Cinnamon Bark, Oregano, Peppermint, and Thieves.

A few oils can cause photosensitivity and shouldn’t be used topically in areas that will be exposed to direct sunlight within a few hours. This includes many citrus oils, and blends such as (but not limited to) Lemon, Orange, Lime, Bergamot, and Peace & Calming. Simply apply them at night.

Oils and Plastic. Essential oils, especially citrus oils, dissolve petrochemicals.  This is good for your body to help flush out toxins! Do not use or store oils in plastic.  Use a glass or stainless-steel water bottle when you drink your oils as essential oils will break down the plastics.

Dilution isn’t always necessary, but as your body works with the oils, you may notice a skin reaction occur.  This is simply toxins your body has been storing being released through the skin. Drink lots of water to flush out toxins and apply a carrier oil to the area.   As your body eliminates toxins, you may find you become less tolerant of chemicals and the oils work faster.  Yay for you!

Frequently Asked Questions -

Where can I get help if my order is wrong or my oils are leaking?

Young Living has amazing customer support!  If you have any problems please contact member services right away at 1-800-371-3515 or by live chat which can be accessed through your virtual office.  If for some reason you are not happy with your experience, please call your sponsor or me so we can work on getting a suitable outcome.

Why is my sales tax high?

Sales tax is charged based on the retail value (not wholesale price) of your oils according to your state’s tax rate. This is a government requirement since you could potentially sell the oils you purchase. If you itemize your tax deductions, you may benefit from writing off the taxes you pay on items all year. (Talk to your tax rep or CPA for details.)

Why do Young Living products go out of stock?

The short answer to that is: “Seed to Seal.”

The full answer is this: Young Living will NOT compromise the quality of their oils, but they cannot control the weather or the seasons. Essential oils come from plants and once the harvest is gone, we have to wait for the next harvest. This is Young Living’s unwavering commitment to quality. There’s no substitute for pure therapeutic grade oils, and they won’t substitute or dilute sub-par oils for the sake of selling more oils. In 2019, Young Living announced they’re working hard to add five new farms each year for five years!   That means more quality oils at a more sustainable availability!

Why are some products limited by how much you can purchase per month?

When a product is in short supply, Young Living often restricts the number you can purchase so that everyone has an opportunity to purchase them for their home. When this happens, I leave the item on the ER order from month to month so that I can build a personal supply and not panic.

I just got my kit, where do I start?

There are a ton of classes in the Kingdom Courtyard that can walk you through the oils.  Our group has “units” that are basically on-demand classes. The EOPR is another great resource too! If you didn’t get one, please let me know and I’ll help you get one – you definitely want this book!
Again, I have lots of classes HERE

Can essential oils be used on children or pregnant or nursing moms?

Short answer: YES!  Debra Raybern wrote a book SPECIFICALLY for this. It’s called “Gentle Babies” and can be found HERE. The Kidscents oils come pre-diluted specifically for use on children for simplicity, but you can use about any oil on them.

I have used oils while pregnant and nursing and have glad that these non-toxic solutions were available! Personal education is important on this journey as you are the keeper of your home and body, but we’re here to help you on your way!

What about using oils for pets?

Yes! Young Living created the Animal Scents line just for our furry friends! The Animal Desk Reference from DiscoverLSP.com is perfect for our animal lovers and their pets.

How often can essential oils be applied? How much do I use?

The idea of “if a little is good, a lot is better” is not always correct. Essential oils are very potent and powerful - start with one or two drops and go from there.

Dr. Peter Minke states, “The biggest mistake people make when using the oils is not using enough, often enough, long enough.” Essential oils cover every cell in your body in seconds, so if after 20 minutes you’re not feeling the desired effects of the oil, re-apply and do that every 20 minutes until you do feel it! You may also want to try a different oil to achieve the desired effect.

I hear people talk about ‘Compliance.’ What’s that all about?

We must be very careful to not make medical claims, diagnose or treat medical conditions since we are not medical professionals (unless you are…then please, go right ahead!). When we don’t comply to the rules and guidelines, we put others, ourselves, and Young Living at risk. More information about what is compliant and how to share compliantly can be found at https://www.youngliving.com/vo/#/resources/sharing-yl-right

Tips and Tricks -

How do the oils come out?

When you first glance at your oil bottle you see a big hole in the center and are afraid the oil will just pour out. Not so. If you look closely, you will actually find a much smaller hole in the groove of the top. That is actually where the oil comes out so if you hold that small hole at the top, your oils will dispense in a more controlled manner.

How do I use this rollerball fitment?

This is the best video I have found thus far for the rollerball fitment.

Easy on, easy off! off! http://tinyurl.com/RollerFitment

What about the diffuser?

Simply EO does a great job laying out some tips and tricks about your diffuser here: http://tinyurl.com/DiffuserTips

Finished an oil bottle? Don’t throw that empty bottle away!

There are many uses for your empty bottles, you can use them to make your own essential oil blends in, to hold your carrier oils, or to display at classes and events. To clean them, take the caps and orifice reducer off and throw them all in a container of Epsom salt. The salt absorbs the oily residue from the bottles. Then you can add a few tablespoons of the Epsom-oil mixture to your bath water!
*Note: when adding oils to bath water, always mix them with the salts first so they disperse in the water!

What About Sharing with Friends & Family -

You may not have started to share with others. Neither did I! I just wanted to experience wellness. The deal is this, I couldn’t keep all this amazingness to myself. Just like with my favorite foods and movies, I had to share the successes I was having!

I don’t sell essential oils. I just share my experiences (just like I would with anything else I love). And I get to see friends and family experience the same amazing results I have!  Someone shared with you, and you found products for your needs. I’m sure you have friends or family who would love these products just like you do!

Maybe you're like me, I was excited at the idea of sharing something that paid for my monthly orders.  Then it was freedom to stay home from work with my kids and make my own hours.  Either way, sharing Young Living could just mean a little side cash to save for a vacation, pay for kids' lessons or whatever you dream! You don't have to quit your day job to enjoy the benefits. Did you know that Billionaire Warren Buffet, after purchasing a network marketing company, called it the “best investment he’d ever made?”  Read here: www.entrepreneur.com/article/84228.

Young Living is about wellness, purpose, AND abundance in ALL areas of your life - including your finances. This is one of the best compensation plans out there and the gifts, retreats, and vacation rewards are incredible.   Join us at Facebook.com/groups/KingdomSharing to ask questions and learn more!

If you’re wanting to start sharing, this is your invitation to reach out to me! I’ll be happy to teach classes to help you start, answer your questions, and even coach you along the way!  As I said at the beginning of this letter, your goals are important to me and I want to help you reach ALL of them!
